Use Prospectr in your AI

Ask your AI who to call this week

The short answer: Prospectr connects to Claude and ChatGPT as a connector. Once it's added, you can ask things like "what's new in my territory this week?" and get companies with a dated public-record reason to call, each with its source link, without leaving the chat. Setup takes about two minutes and uses your Prospectr sign-in.

Connector address

https://prospectr-mcp.kanecr.workers.dev/mcp

Add it to Claude

  1. 1In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. 2Name it Prospectr and paste the connector address above. Select Add.
  3. 3Select Connect. A Prospectr page opens: sign in if asked, then tap Allow.
  4. 4In a new chat, turn on Prospectr from the connectors menu and ask, for example, "What's new in my territory this week?"

Add it to ChatGPT

  1. 1On a paid plan, go to chatgpt.com/plugins in your browser (on a phone or iPad, use the browser, not the app) and select Add.
  2. 2Choose Create MCP App (it may say Create custom MCP server). Don't see it? Turn on Settings → Security and login → Developer mode, then try again. On Business workspaces, an admin has to allow this.
  3. 3Name it Prospectr, paste the connector address, choose OAuth, confirm you trust it, and create it. Sign in to Prospectr and tap Allow.
  4. 4In a new chat, turn on Prospectr from the + menu and ask your question. ChatGPT asks you to confirm before it saves or changes anything.

ChatGPT renames these menus from time to time (Connectors became Plugins in 2026). If a step looks different, search ChatGPT's help for "custom MCP server".

What you can ask it to do

Check a territory

How many companies in a state, city or territory have a fresh public-record signal, by type, with examples.

Recent buying signals

The newest dated events (OSHA inspections, FDA recalls, new truck fleets, federal contracts and more), each with its source link.

Find prospects

New companies that fit what you sell, with why they fit and a dated reason to call when there is one.

My accounts

The companies on your Prospectr list, with stage, follow-up date and whether a report is ready.

Research a company

Starts a full Prospectr report (1 to 3 minutes; uses one report from your plan).

Read a report

Why now, fit, verified contacts, locations, discovery questions and call, email and walk-in openers.

Save to my list

Adds a company to your Prospectr list as New, with the reason to call.

Mark not a fit

Moves a company to Not a fit so Prospectr stops suggesting it.

Every signal comes from an official public record (OSHA, FDA, FMCSA, USAspending, EPA, USAC and more) and carries its date and source link, so you can check it yourself. Want to see the counts for your area first? Try the free Territory Check.

Quick answers

Which AI apps work with Prospectr?
Claude (web, desktop and mobile, on any plan that allows custom connectors) and ChatGPT (paid plans; set up once on chatgpt.com under Plugins). Any AI app that supports remote MCP connectors with sign-in should work.
Do I need a Prospectr plan?
Yes: an Essentials or Pro plan, or an account still in its free trial. The AI uses your Prospectr account, so reports it runs count toward your plan.
Can the AI see my billing or delete my data?
No. It can read territory data and your Prospectr list, run reports, save a company and mark one Not a fit. It cannot see billing, change your account or delete anything.
How do I disconnect it?
In Prospectr, open your Profile, go to Connected AI and tap Turn off. It stops working right away. You can also remove the connector in your AI app.
Are there limits?
Yes, to keep it fast for everyone: 100 requests a day, 60 an hour and 20 a minute, with lower daily limits for finding prospects (15) and running reports (10).
